News photographer Richard Budman, who keeps a Quik Pod DSLR in his kit, was recently walking through New York’s famed Times Square when he spotted a couple using their quik pod.

Edmonton’s Gadget Greg made an appearance on morning television and among the few gadgets he was reviewing - was the quik pod and quik pod DSLR. But Gadget Greg also concluded that four minutes wasn’t a lot of time to talk gadgets - and encouraged the viewing audience to head to the web for additional info on the products he was reviewing.

It was great of John Biggs to offer his review of the Quik Pod in the New York Times (of all papers!) We weren’t sure at first what Mr. Biggs really thought of the Quik Pod - immediately labeling it a “nefarious device.” But gladly the Times reviewer did seem to warm up to the Quik Pod and see its travel merits.

We’ve seen the host of Geekbrief.tv rave about the Quik Pod before (like here, on MSNBC) So it was nice to see Cali also love the new Quik Pod Pro+ Precision - with a camera leveling adaptor. Cali loved the new Quik Pod so much she even sings about it!

We thank a Mom who loves reviews for the successful Quik Pod givaway she ran on her blog last month (and also the kind words about the Quik Pod) We’re always thrilled to hear the Quik Pod helps a Mom get better pictures with her kids.

Well now there is no worry about that because I have a QuikPod to use and can take pictures of both Olivia and I or just myself without my arm getting in the way of the picture. Olivia and I have had a good time with the QuikPod and I’m actually looking into getting the QuikPod for my DSLR Camera that I have. - a Mom’s review

We love to see the Quik Pod used in new and innovative ways. Mark from TheNokiaBlog.com used a Nokia cell phone adaptor to attach his Nokia video phone to the Quik Pod. The results were very impressive.
